The Challenges of Ethical Decision-Making in Organizations

Held on 6 June 2011 at Château Laurier, Quebec City

This year, the conference aim was to provide an occasion for reflection on ethical decision-making as it occurs in organizations, and the impact of various organizational and contextual factors on it. We were pleased to offer a special welcome to Prof. Linda Treviño, internationally renowned lecturer, author and researcher on these subjects.

That day allowed us to reflect on the adequacy of the initiatives that have already been put in place to encourage ethical decision making in organizations and to learn from the experience of colleagues in various organizations. That day was an exceptional opportunity to meet people with a passion for ethics!

At the 2011 conference, the conference of Linda Treviño, world-class researchers in management and emeritus professor at Penn State University (USA), was greatly appreciated. Here are some selected excerpts of her lecture Culture Ethics: Managing Ethics in Organizations.
